The Next Steps Forward

Healing doesn’t happen in empty spaces.

It happens where there are rocks to climb, water to explore, scents to follow, and grass beneath their feet.

We are continuously creating natural, stimulating environments that encourage wildlife to behave as they would in the wild.

This isn’t a once-off effort, it’s a promise we make to every life that comes through our gates. Every structure you see… every project… every plan…is a step toward giving wildlife their freedom back.

Raptor Flight Tunnel

There’s a moment we live for… the moment a bird takes its first real flight again.

Our flight tunnel will give injured and orphaned birds the chance to rebuild their strength in a controlled, safe environment preparing them for release back into the wild where they belong.

Every meter brings a bird closer to freedom!

We do everything we can with what we have. We make plans, we adapt, and we fight for every animal that comes through our doors. We have reached a point ( a very good point) where we need to expand. As we grow our animal species list grow. That’s why we are building a flight tunnel with individual holding facilities to accommodate more raptors in one go.

Raptors are not meant for small enclosures. They need space to rebuild strength, some, to learn how to fly again, build muscle, stretch & test wings to prepare for the wild again and some for the first time!. Without these capabilities and skills, their chances of survival drop and sometimes, release is no longer an option.

This will allow us not only to start proper flight conditioning, but also to create temporary housing for larger birds.

Predator & Reptile Enclosures

This enclosure isn’t just fencing and poles it’s the difference between captivity and recovery. It’s where instinct returns, confidence rebuilds, and wild animals begin to feel wild again.

We are building a safe, enriched environment with natural features, water access, and secure double-entry systems because their second chance deserves nothing less.

Every enclosure we build is done with one goal in mind:

giving rescued wildlife the best possible chance at survival and release!

Our current predator enclosure was a quick, temporary build that has served us when we urgently needed it. It has been used successfully in the past but now, as we grow, so do the needs of the animals in our care.

What we want to build:
Our goal is to construct a proper, species-appropriate predator enclosure system, made up of:

• 4 × individual enclosures
• Each enclosure 10m × 10m, 3m high
• Fully enclosed (including roof)
• Enclosures positioned back-to-back so animals cannot see one another
• Each enclosure to include:
– A secure hiding room
– Rock lookout point
– Water dam
– Sun and shade areas
– Space for larger, more meaningful enrichment

This setup will allow us to safely rehabilitate up to four predators at a time, each with their own space — while preparing them physically and mentally for release wherever possible.

Help us give them the space they need to become who they were meant to be💚
